Sarnia-Lambton Industrial Educational Cooperative - Their mission is to train people in all work environments to implement and sustain Best Practices performance improvement processes. They are actively involved in promoting the initiatives that come from the Safety Partnership. This Partnership is comprised of Labour, Contractors and Industry, working together to achieve the goal of Zero Injuries by Choice.

Canadian Society of Safety Engineering - Canadian Society of Safety Engineering is Canada's premier organization for Health & Safety Professionals. This site offers several resources for OHS education, networking meetings, chapter listings, OHS conferences and the process for obtaining safety designations as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and a Certified Health & Safety Consultant (CHSC).

Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety - The huge and detailed website of the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) includes a number of useful fact sheets and special reports, OHS answers, event listings and up to date links. Much of the meat o the site, including its database of occupational and environmental legislation, is subscription based. Still, the CCOHS site is always worth a look.

Board of Registered Canadian Safety Professionals - The site of the Board of Registered Canadian Safety Professionals is a useful source of information on upcoming conferences, courses, examinations and the process for applying for and obtaining your certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP).

Ontario Ministry of Labour - This Ministry of Labour website covers information about the Ministry, related Agencies, Boards and Commissions, news and announcements, enforcement actions, employment standards, legislation and regulations, and links. "In the Works" page covers new and proposed amendments and policies.

Ontario Ministry of Labour - Legistation and Registration - This website contains full text of numerous Acts and Regulations including the Employment Standards Act 2000, Fire Protection & Prevention Act, Industrial Standards Act, Labour Relations Act, Ministry of Labour Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Smoking in the Workplace Act, and Workplace Safety & Insurance Act as well as links to Publications Ontario and The Ontario Gazette.

Ontario Ministry of Labour - Occupational Health and Safety - The "Occupational Health and Safety" page provides access to general information on the OH&S Act and joint health and safety committees (JHSC), and guides for new workers and respirator use, project reports on major ministry initiatives, health and safety guidelines, engineering data sheets, alert bulletins and other publications.

U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration - This website of the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is good, especially if you are interested in the under pinnings of the U.S. regulatory regime. An extensive A-Z index lists hundreds of detailed fact sheets on more general oh&s topics, each of which provides additional links to the pertinent literature.

SafetySmart.com - This website is chock full of safety articles, training, posters, promotion and communication materials. They also have a monthly safety slogan contest, and provide safety slogans and safety talks on a subscription or online basis.

Association of Electrical Utilities Safety Professionals - The AEUSP World Wide web site is where Safety Professionals meet to discuss loss prevention measures. The purpose of the Association is to provide a forum for the free exchange of ideas and information among the Safety Professionals of electrical utilities in Ontario. Based on the shared knowledge of those involved, their purpose is to adopt best practices, prevent injury and minimize losses.
